Rain had come in to my lower level, but how? I called Crown Roofing and others Monday. Bruce came in the next day to give me an estimate to repair the roof. He inspected it carefully, took pictures of questionable areas especially around vents and boots and gave me an estimate, plus a thumb drive so I could show others where the leaking was coming from. A storm was forecast for Saturday. Bruce told me he would put a tarp over the roof if it comes before he can get to it. But he arrived Friday afternoon with two men to repair the roof and leaking boots. They were intent on doing a good job. When i mentioned the gutter that pulled away from the fascia board, they fixed that as well as roof fan that was loose. They were an impressive group of hard working people. They did preventative maintenance on other non-leaking skylights. Bruce spent time with me answering questions and said my roof should last another 3-5 years. (Other roofers wanted to replace the whole roof two or three weeks from now). My experience was great. We had heavy rain the next day. Bruce called to see how I was doing. NO LEAKS! I was completely satisfied. I would highly recommend Crown Roofing to anyone having roof problems. Bruce was personable, very knowledgeable, honest, efficient and professional. I will contact him to replace my roof when it needs to be done 3-4 years from now. Meantime, insurance will pay for the damage to my house between the floors that was caused by the leaks that were so hard to find.
